Dimitri captured his first PGA Championship victory at the 13th hole at the Afandou Golf Course.

The PGA of Greece invites it's members to participate in the Greek PGA Championship. The qualifications to the final, which will be held in the Glyfada Golf Course of Athens, will be divided into three regional groups:

·        Residents of mainland Greece

·        Residents of islands of Greece

·        International residents outside Greece

Qualifications for the mainland will be held in Glyfada Golf Course, for islands in Afandou Golf Course of Rodos & international in Germany.

The qualifications format will be 18 holes match play between May and October 2006. The draw will be made by the Board of Directors and results have to be submitted to the PGA. The first person to be drawn will be the host for the match. It is his responsibility to assure a starting time at his home or favorite golf club.

If a possible date cannot be found, the game has to be played by the last Monday of each month at 9:00am. In case of a no-show, the person is disqualified and in case of the match not being held, the winner will be decided by a draw of the Board of Directors.

The qualifiers of the international and island groups will receive a flight ticket to Athens as well as a free two day accommodation. The format of the final will be an 18 holes 9-point game between the three qualifiers. The winner will receive prize money of 1.000€.
